Most shipping services, including Australia Post, have shipping calculators where you can just enter the weight of a package and its destination and it will give you an estimate. You can also charge a small fee for packaging and handling, but that's entirely up to you. Wink

When you have to pre-determine shipping, charging a base rate is really all you can do, and you'll gain on some shipments and lose on others so it should come out even in the end; you have to keep track of how much your shipments cost compared to your estimates so you can make across-the-board adjustments if you have to. Invest in an accurate scale, though, so at least you don't get killed on the weight. It's better to increase the price of your product by a few bucks than for the customer to perceive you're overcharging on shipping.
