When I saw the most recent Christmas episode of Doctor Who, and Miss Hartigan enthroned as Cyberking, I decided I just have to have that outfit for myself. Then reality set in and I realised that since I can't really sew, and I have never actually made clothes, starting with a full-skirted Victorian dress might be a tad overambitious. So I settled for a doll.

**Edit** Finally finished the throne and cyberhelmet, so here she is complete.

The throne on its own:

and a kind of iffy closeup of the helmet:

The doll itself is based on a Runo doll (I think, it's so long ago now I can't remember). I didn't have to make a corset, as I just made her body that shape (If only that worked in real life. Alas...). I would like to thank the people on the Craftster costume forum for giving me useful advice and links on Victorian underskirts. Here it is in all it's glory:

Here's a better angle on the doll.

Thanks for looking.

She's beautiful!  Wow, you did a wonderful job on her.

I told you: I only wrote that poem to test my printer!

I love it. The first time the images would not show. I think some of these ads are really slowing down the loading.

BUT all that aside, I love it. As I love red so much this is totally wisted.

I have a split personality, because you guys crack me up.  AND The best day I ever had was TODAY!

I'm so glad I watched the special on youtube... it hasn't even aired in the US yet! Awful!

But this is great! I love it so much, totally wisted.

I can't wait until the Next Doctor shows on BBC America on June 27!  Your doll looks just like the pictures I've seen of her.  Very cool!

What do you think, sirs?- Joel, MST3K

Great job!  I love all her underpinnings too.

Thanks for all the positive comments. I finally finished the throne and helmet, so I updated the pictures.
