I have a really large bandana collection, which my boyfriend hates.  The collection is from my camp counselor/rock climbing instructor days.  Spending six to eight hours a day wearing a helmet isn't so nice for hair, so I wore bandanas under the helmet to keep my hair from getting snagged.  I have a stockpile of bandanas because one washing machine for the entire camp staff meant sometimes I had to go a while.  A lot of them were given to me by other people, so there's also a bit of sentimental value tied into the collection.  Which annoys my boyfriend even more, because even though there's only one or two that I'll wear in my hair occasionally, I won't get rid of any of them, hehe  Grin

This week my sweet and adoring boyfriend surprised me with a new sewing machine because my old machine was prone to eating my projects and I had pretty much stopped sewing because of it.

So because he did something sweet, I figured I'd reduce my bandana collection (slightly) for him.  But of course I had no intention to get rid of any  Tongue

So I made pillows!

The blue has identical sides, while the black one has two different sides:

And here's a better look at the dragon print on the blue pillow:

It was very easy, even though one of the bandanas wasn't quite square.  I'll have to decide what I'm going to make with my other bandanas  Tongue

Cute idea, and lovely bandanas.

I don't know how many you still have, but you could make a really simply throw or blanket with the rest!!!
