Not sure it belongs here, but it was a shoe box that got turned into a "basket" by adding paper (that I had painted first). This was a present for my friend's birthday.


(Oops, you can see the box underneath on that corner...)


It's lined with fabric.

Feeling like I was in elementary art class again with the paper weaving:



I made this booklet using GIMP (plus some additions and coloring afterward) I was proud of myself because I never use photoshop-like programs. Figuring out how to print the pages to go together was probably the most challenging part of this.
