I received from half pint & love2teach this week!  I said that red & light blue are my favorite colors, and I like vintage & ethnic patterns, and they both went with this.  Smiley

love2teach gave me a crocheted headband in a cornflower blue.  I thought it would be heavy for summer, but it's actually light.  Probably because it's cotton!  Smiley

And here is the action shot (don't mind the messy pony tail hair):

Half pint sent a reversible cherry/Asian print headband, and a crocheted hair clip:

And here are the action shots (again, don't mind the messy pony tail hair - it's hot in Dallas!):

Thanks half pint & love2teach!

I am looking for 6" and 8" squares of different red, green, white, and gold fabrics to complete a Christmas quilt.  Does not need to be Christmas fabric per se.

I love Juliel85's bobby pins for olive_juice and donniesgirl's headband from half pint! Some great stuff in here so far.

I received from juliel85 today; she made me some really cool hair sticks! I really love the beads on the ends, and the color scheme is really pretty.

In action!

I filed down the ends to make them easier to put in. Thanks again Julie!

Ha I'm glad you could make them work...my hair is too short to wear hair sticks, so I've never owned a pair, let alone made them :-P  Crafting is a learning process...

I love all the stuff in here so far!  Great job guys Smiley

Yeah! I was surprised that they worked when I first tried hair sticks a few years ago, but it's one of the only things that will keep my hair up. First I twist it all in one direction and into a bun, then catch some hair at the top of the bun with the end of a stick going from the inside to outside. Then catch some more hair from underneath the bun and switch directions to point the stick downward and push it down. I'm really bad at explaining this I realize, so here's a link to some directions.
