Thank you! marmota-b, that's a real compliment about Tove Jansson - I read Finn Family Moomintroll when I was young, and I think a lot of the creatures got stuck somewhere in the back of my head. I've read a few more book recently, and I love her illustrations and her complex characters.

That's the first one I've read as well, and still my favourite. Smiley Although I love the rest as well, this one has a special place in my heart, because it was the first one, where I learned all about the Hattifatteners and such. Cheesy
And yes, her characters are great... you got it right, they're complex! Which is not usual with children's stories. Actually, some of them are much more for adults... I'm thinking of Moominpappa at Sea.
Anyway, it's great to see them reflected in your work! I did not manage that...

Aww, you're all too sweet! I really wasn't sure the dragon would work while I was making it, and although I was happy with it when it was finished, I wasn't sure other people would agree.
