I began this project in late march and didn't finish until a few week ago due to problems such as missing zipper, crazy ruffles, and so on. This is also the first piece of clothing i made by myself so i'm pretty proud of it. I wore it to a lolita convention and got many compliments! <3 everybody was so surprised when i told them i made it! Cheesy it was nice seeing the look on their faces.
here are some pictures of it

that's really cute!! and you look adorable  Cheesy
Is the skirt just a gathered rectangle or is it made up of panels?
The print/color of the fabric really caught my eye... it's a bit different than I usually see in lolita. nice choice.

Did you use a pattern or was it original?  I would love to have that pattern if it was one.

aw thanks everyone Smiley
i got the tutorial from pearmaid here
http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=259026.0

the cloth is a little too bright and flowery so i'll use something less neon-y next time Cheesy.
the skirt is actually a 78cm rectangle gathered at the waist.
and i made my friend's dress in the second picture too. Cheesy

I love the print on this dress! It's a little unusual for a lolita style and that just makes it so original and one of a kind. Love it!
