Okay get those Wist buttons ready.  I got an awesome package from Sherrie today.  It is amazing how much alike we are.

The box was wrapped in this lovely quilted lapghan.


Sherrie's favorite holiday and my favorite holiday is Christmas, so she included a stocking and tree candle.


I asked for a non fiber related DIY kit and Sherrie sent me a decorative painting kit.  I can't wait to begin to practice.


Package #3
I received my package a bit ago and life has just gotten in the way of everything.  Here is my amazing package.



Sherrie made me an amazing crochet shawl/wrap and slippers.  She sent me some fabric for my stash and she sent a bowling towel and slippers for my room-mate too.  I feel very spoiled and my roomie was really surprised too.

PACKAGE ONE RECEIVED!!!!  Its amazing!!!

She sent me #'s:
4-Smells good....An Pear scented Votive..its wonderful!  and i NEED to burn it now! lol  

5- A very fashionable something to wear....sparkly headphones.....now this give me incentive to break down and buy and ipod....i've yet to get one....

6- something made out of paper- scrapbook album all about her.  i'm so tempted to keep it!  She did an amazing job of helping me get to know her better....but she spent so much time on it...that i'd want her to have it...so i'm gonna send it back in the last package....caue...t her is so much information that i want it for more ideas.....

7- Personal style...a beautiful  (FIRST EVER ATTEMPTED) punch embroidery chandalier. Its beautiful....my colors...and MY first "crafted" piece of art!!  i'm gonna find a special place to hang it up!!

8-favorite character.  Audrey hepburn pocket mirror.   so classy!

11- sentimental value  a cup from a fav coffee shop in  New Orleans.  this is SOOOOOOO handy granny and i moved in together so that i can care for her and all we have is disposable cups and forks and glasess!  i'm gonna drink outta these forever!!!

12- local stuff  Austin city limits music festival cup.  I've always wanted to go!

13- Keep in purse.   she keeps a mirror, lipbalms (3), lotion, headphones, all in a zippered puch.  She send me each of these!!

15- Favorite designs. A HAND MADE zipper pouch!!  OMG!!  She made it for me and the fabric is of her favorite designs. its beautiful and the first hand sewn swap item i recieved!!! i LOVE LOVE LOVE it i've been wanting something like this for so long!

16-holiday  stickers of halloween and harry potterish items!  (loves me the Harry!)

17- craft supply- a hand made pincusion!!!  I LOVE IT!  and its so much better than my ugly tomato!

21- non crafty hobby...."SHEAR GENIUS bruxh and comb!!!!  i LOVE THAT SHOW!!!!!  she is a "freebie queen"  which is HYSTERICAL because i'm  the same, only on a smaller scale.....we'll have to chat about that later...

23- summer essential....SUNSCR EEN....we both live in texas....so yeah....it is essential for us! LOL

24- Favorite flower- gerber daisy.  seh made me a CUTE pen.  my niece tried to steal it and i said..."NEGATIVE!"

BEADS!!!!  and wow i've never bought strands as huge as these! LOL  my fav are the flower bead and the two little fishies!

A needlebook with a beautiful cross stitch!!!!!  made from recycled jeans!!!  its awesome!  also stickets and crochet tags!!!  which is awesome cause i've never seen these.  i've only ever found the knitting ones.  and a cross stitch kit!


her "new" fav craft shrinky dink jewelry!  its so cute and reminds me of the inside of a cell.
  

and she send me a craft kit of something  i've never tried!!!  soap making!!!  its an awesome kit with an extra YUMMY scent to try!  along with a book that makes me want to try everything in it!!  My niece and i are going to work on this tonight...just after i go buy a candy thermometer!

PACKAGE 3!!!

My partner has been the greatest ever!!!  and this last package just blew me out of the water.  It came and a difficult time for me and openeing it just made me so happy.  ty so much nostephot.

 I received my round 2 package the other day and I have been a horrible partner who has not posted the awesome pics..... but here they are!!!! 
First set is of my new craft kit... crochet!  The book actually looks perfect for me to figure this crochet thing out!  And some great yarn in the perfect colors!  Ready to start soon....



Second is to add to my scrapbook paper craft stash!  I have been doing a LOT with this stuff so I am glad that I can add more!  Some really awesome stuff that I don't have like brads and some nice .  There is also a great frame...there was also a nice vase/candle stick that has already found a prominent place in my living room...




Third is some great fabric stash that I can totally use!!!!  There was also some fave things in there... the Sonic straws... I live at Sonic!!! 






I received my first box and I was so excited getting started on the next one that I forgot to post all of my wonderful stuff!  I have a really great partner who I think is very thoughtful!  Here are some images!

A washcloth and neck warmer... neither of which I am capable of making myself so I am thoroughly amazed!


A Golden Snitch Necklace!  HOW AWESOME IS THAT?!?!  I am totally wearing this to the movie!

Package One Received!

I got this on Monday, but've been so busy with the chiropractor, puppies and house cleaning that I've not been able to get photos together until now.    I took these with my roommate's camera phone, as I can't find my camera cable, so I'll have to tell what everything is as we go.

First off, all of it together, hanging out in my yard.  




Next, we start the best I could do for closeups  Starting in the upper left and moving clockwise, we have a handmade box of hers from South Africa, a package of the coolest cocktail napkins (that's what we call them in the States) with pink and brown elephants on them that she reccomends for decopauge (I'm drooling already), a cute little owl key holder (I love owls, they remind me of my grandmother who collected them for many years), a dangly thing with birds and a bell (it's destined for my living room window) and two candle tarts from Yankee Candle (they smell very yummy!)



Next is a bag of buttons that I think I missed the explanation for (my daughter was AFTER ME to open faster!), a crocheted flower bag (again, said daughter is likely to snatch it, she's 10) and a very cute knitted scarf (I love the colors!  VERY much!  I'm trying to wear more color and less black...I'm not doing so well)




The only item that's new in this photo is the one that I looked through FIRST.  A cookbook from England!  With regional items!  I'm so excited, I want to make pasties, I miss them so much!!!




This last one has nothing new at first glance, but really, it does, I opened up the box to show the 2 shells inside, from her wedding bouquet!!  Very cool!!

Package 2 Received

Here goes nothing!

First we have all of the stuff in its fantastic glory!


Next we have a close up of the yarn that was sitting nice and pretty in a mesh style bag!


Followed by the contents of the second bag, this one sewn, as well as both of the remaining bags.  There are some Rollos (so much better in the Britain than here by the way), beads, a pincushion and a crocheted monkey!
