how cute!! i agree with everyone else who posted, it would look better and more dressy if you added a belt around the waist.

Do you think you could give a tutorial on your skirt?  its so cute!

The one color look is great!
And that is a color I love, and have a lot of in my own wardrobe.

this skirt is adorable! I'm really into skirts right now, and this looks amazing on you. I also agree that it looks very vintage/awesome as a dress, belt or no. Did you make the scarf in the first picture or does it just match perfectly??

p.s. I LOVE Plato's Closet...
p.p.s. I love your shoes as well, esspecially with that skirt/dress

i like it a lot, moreso with the white shirt, and with the belt rather than without it.
did you use a pattern?! that is EXACTLY the skirt i've been meaning to make!

Could I have that skirt?!? I just love the color. I want one AHHH
I think it looks good in both pictures, it does not look tacky because it is the same color as the shirt, I actually thought it was a dress before I read that.

I thought it was a dress at first, too! It looks great, both pictures. You can pull it off, it is really nice. Did you make your own pattern? I want to make one! Cheesy

Mustard yellow! And for the color-on-color thing, I'd say go for the belt to break it up a little, just to distract from the waistband. Love it with the white shirt though!
