Yay, it's friday!! i think. let me check...yep, yep it is.

this week I made up a new way to make yarn. i call it "a zillion little pieces", i just grab a pinch of every single fiber in my stash, crank it through the carder and spin! Grin i really like the results so far:







this one is called "close encounter"

heyyo,

Still working hard to build up some stock for the local farmers market. Starts in two weeks, so I'm crafting like crazy.

Noodle Princess - I always like the marbled swirls of rainbow in your yarn. Beautiful.


Sunrise - Merino, alpaca, soy silk, and sparkle spun from a Hobbledehoy Batt. (Photo pre setting the twist)


Midnight - BFL and Falkland. 205 yards corespun.


Bengal - Punta and falkland wool


Mystic - BFL, romney, alpaca, falkland. I used some raw wool in this skein so there's tons of texture.

Happy Friday! I have two to share this week,

First is Go Wings!
Corespun and Autowrapped from my own batts. Approx 50 yards Bulky Weight (6wpi)
Just in time for game 7 tonight!!!



Made from this batt I made containing Merino, Firestar, Angelina, and Pizzaz


And then Plumeria (fiber by FatCatKnits) BFL, Corespun, Approx 110 yards, Worsted Weight (10 wpi)


A tiny bit overspun, but I'm working on trying to make thinner, consistant corespun yarns. I'm loving the results!

Thanks!  I actually didn't card it first, though I wish I would have tried it.  I just spun it from the big mess of threads lol
