I really think this is beautiful! I like the french knots in the middle and the fabric choice. Did you just glue the fabric down?

I actually found an adhesive made for quilting at Joann's. It's sort of like double sided tape for fabric. It holds up really well! I used it in another project and it handled water AND being left in my (hot) car.

this is so pretty. what was the tape called?

Ooh, I love lazy summer jobs, especially when they result in things as fabulous as this. To me it looks like the kind of thing one would find on a pillow, but if you're like me and not a huge fan of tiny pillows, that won't be helpful.
