I made this little set of quilts for my little sister's graduation!

They are roughly the same size and proportion as polaroid photographs, and I included little descriptions of places we've been, like you would an old photograph.

Sewn and quilted by hand (my machine crapped out on me recently!). I had a lot of fun experimenting with new quilting stitches. The descriptions are written with micron pens.

Peace, y'all!

This is a beautiful, sweet idea and I'd love to try it sometime!  I've hardly done any quilting at all, but it looks so sweet and sentimental I feel I have to try it!

I love how you were able to connect the fabric to a memory! I really love this idea, and may (someday) have to do a variation of it. Thanks for the inspiration!

What a great idea!!  I would have never thought of it, and I LOVE it!! Sometimes you have fabric you don't want to cut up, this is a fun way to showcase a pretty print.
