So I'm going out to this outdoor festival, and I thought that a girl needs these in different colors, because you can't wear the same outfit all the time! So "black" without embroideries - well almost. The fabric I had laying around had a test embroidery on it, and so I used it for the waterbottle.

Great job!  I may have to attempt to try and make one for myself.

See!  There is life after test stitch outs!  People complain about doing them but they really are important - and you can use them for other things somewhere down the road!

You are on a roll!

Terve!

That looks so good, I am going to attempt one, as I'm going to a music festical (Kuopio Rock!), but hate short bag straps or the way long straps crosses over my top. And the though of going bagless terrifies me.

My youngest son has asked me to make him belt pockets now that he has seen yours.  He has big dreams of looking all cool while he is playing...!  I am going to get on them next week while he is at scout camp (yay!  A week without kids during the day!!  Break up the summer break a bit!)

now I have the festivities over with and I'll tell you: these are MARVELLOUS! I love them!! and the drink holder really came in handy! it was so much more fun than with a bagpack/messengerbag/handbag!! soooo much easier! Smiley

amarok; Yes, I'm English! I'm spending my summer in Finland, most of it on a language course to learn Finnish, then the rest just travelling around, going to Kuopiorock to see Apulanta, I love them!

I'm embroidering the front of my bag right now but I'll post a picture of it up on this thread when it's finished.  Cheesy

kaykagan, that's awesome!! are you going to be up north all the time or are you going all around? Smiley

can't wait to see your pockets Smiley

i've gotten many compliments for my pockets and yesterday i talked with an older woman who liked the idea very much (of not having to hold things in your hands etc)

AND yesterday i used one of the pockets in agility with my dog, i had treats there. i need to do one just for doggytreats Smiley

They're awesome! I love the black ones and your water holder, so clever, and perfect for the summer when it's too hot for bags and straps!
