So I started from plain white merino fleece, and I went all the way to my cactus hat.




I've done all these steps before, but not in the one project.
 
I was inspired to do as much of the process as I can after going to a back-to-back challenge.

The finished knitted hat



I used a circular knitting needle and cast on 60


The handspun with bits & pieces spun in


and extreme thick & thin chunks


I loved how dyig the wool turned out.
Fresh & fushia, but still with a natural feel with the brown & green.

yup, a kind of khaki shade that wasn't too different from the wool.
