I'm a newbie and have never even done a swap but I know that with the economy (even though it's picking up) has been down, companies are still laying off people, and.... just life in general.. people are stressed. I think a destress/relaxation swap would be appropriate!!!  You could swap bath salts, a cozy knitted blanket, make a scrapbook on destress techniques or ideas, etc etc etc. How fun would that be?!

This sounds like a great idea, and what is more relaxing than busting something out using your crafting skills (except maybe Chocolate!) I really like the sounds of this but have literally just got a new baby (less than a week old) so if this didn't come about for a month or so I would totally be in, after all no-one needs to relax more than a new Mum!

congrats on the new baby, Mink Bikini!
Be sure to nap when the baby does,
and just take it easy for awhile!

My life is a bit on the crazy side right now, but this definitely appeals to me (or rather, because of the craziness, it appeals to me).  Is this your first baby, Mink Bikini?  My youngest will be one on Monday and my oldest turned four this month (and there's one in the middle) so I can totally relate to the stresses of motherhood!!

I would do this if the timing was a little later.  Might get more interest in the fall, too.  Smiley

I suggested a 44 cent swap, what you could fit in an envelope and loves2experiment organized the first round. Cheap, and no dc required. Idea was for no/low stress. LOL

I need someone to do a round 2 so I can get a swap out completely, and will organize one when I am qualified.

You should see the gallery. The posts were awesome.

I think any destress needs chocolate. I'm out of work since Dec. Ready to go to work and de-stress, funny how that sounds, but I have a lot more self esteem when I am doing something.
