I LOVE froggy! It's great! So cool.  I like the other yarn too.  It is really fun seeing my batts spun up. I pulled out the some of the green roving from SML tonight, but haven't started spinning it yet.  I've been busy dyeing and spinning for the IVP swap, just finished all the spinning I need to do for it so was looking for something new for the spinning wheel.

Yay I'm so glad!! Cheesy

I hope the orifice hooks aren't too flimsy...I couldn't really find a sturdy enough wire for them. D:

I'm panicking now. I have no idea what an orifice hook is for! I clearly fail at being a spinster and should be using an orifice hook for...something? Argh! That aside, though, I come bearing photographs - my camera has deigned to return from its Big Adventure. I'm not quite sure why its chosen holiday destination was the cat's bed under a blanket, but there you go.

MLF sent me awesomenessesses. Obviously.

This yarn was so squidgy and nice like this that it was a couple of days before I undid it and took a look at the whole skein. Which was a dreadful oversight on my part because

it turned out to be HUGE. Like, massive huge. I have no idea quite *how* huge, but it is *huge*.

and there were wool tops of great greeniousity

and green and poiple, in fact :-D

also much powder dye of powdery dyeness!

And here's a group shot. Because I liked how it looked all piled up together in a big, fibrey heap.

Swapping with Cyndi is every bit as lovely as I knew it would be :-)

PH, Stop the panick.  An orifice hook is used on a wheel to pull the leader through the orifice.  Since you spindle, you're good to go!

If you want to know how huge, count the number of yarns, multiply by 74 and divide by 36 to get the spprox number of yards.  (my niddies puts out between 74"-76" loop)

Good to know [grin] I'll work out the length of that yarn when I get home. It is very squishy and snuggleable and good :-)
