I am totally in love with those rings.  I love the bright colors, too.  I need me  one of those happy rings.  That's just all there is to it.   Grin

Those are rings? Too cute! ^^

I thought they were gonna be hair scrunchies or something.

I love these rings.
Can you tell me how to make them?  Where did you get the fun happy face beads?

i got them from orientaltrading.com, i believe. unfortunately, they don't sell them any more. I've been searching for them ever since I actually used these beads (I think I got them two years ago.) There are similar ones out there, though. I think any smiley face bead will do!

To make them, you tie a knot (call this knot 1) and leave a good 3 inches of string above the knot. Than follow these directions until the ring is big enough to fit around a finger (remember to leave room for the bead, or your ring will be far too large):
http://www.jewelrymakingguide.com/square-knot-hemp-bracelet-instructions.html

than you tie another knot (knot 2). put the bead on the 3 inches of string, and tie the string above knot 1 on to a stray string from knot 2. Cut the excess string, and you've got yourself a ring!

I love your rings!!

thank you Smiley

Thanks!  I am going to give them a try.  That's too bad about the beads.  Hope you can find some!
