I hope somebody can give me advice.  I want to make my own ink pads.  I only want to buy refill ink. I have had too many stamp pads dry out over the years. It is starting to frustrate me.

Yes, I take good care of my ink pads.  Wink

I have done a lot of research but I still have questions.

Can I use regular felt for the dye ink pads?
Could I use cosmetic foam sponges for the pigment ink pads?

Do you have any other recommendations.

Thanks for any tips.
