Oh yay.  I am so glad the mushroom is standing.  I was a little worried about it.  Had to have the 5yo test it.  If he could get it to stand, I hoped an adult would.   

WOW!  That button on the brooch is simply lovely.  I am totally swooning over that too.

I would like to introduce to everyone... Peking the Duck!



Isn't he so, so sweet!  Dommeenation chose my rubber duck theme and crafted me him and three adorable necklaces so he could arrive in style to Canada.  Right now he likes chilling in my glasses case and will join the rest of my rubber duck collection soon.  I love him and would never be able to craft him myself so thanks dommeenation!  Oh, and does anyone have a guess as to how he arrived?  Of course, in a tiny Chinese takeout box, how else would Peking the Duck arrive?!?

whether the sender and receiver are both in what the mail service considers a major centres.  If you are sending from a rural address to a rural address you can expect the maximum wait no matter which country starts the sending process.

I live in London. I'm pretty sure that's a 'major centre' ;-) I have no idea how big Sasquewitchywitchy*keyboardmash*etan is, but I get the impression it's not enormous.

(I am, by the way, taking the piss out of my inability to pronounce the name and not the place itself. I bet it's a lovely place, but I am too stupid to say it!)

I actually own one myself now, in black and white though with a similare bead in the middle. I could have brought atleast a dozen more from the bead store when I was there but I resisted and only brought those two and a Hello Kitty one
