I have had a vision of this purse in my head for weeks now, but have been to afraid of making it for fear that it wouldn't come out the way I wanted it. I finally tried and it came out amazing! It's exactly what I wanted and then some. The only thing I'll change the next time I make one is I'll make it bigger.

All of the fabrics are from Joann's (And clearance, woo-hoo!) The interior fabric is one of the first I bought when I got my machine in February and it's my favorite. I've been holding on to it, not wanting to cut into it for just anything. It worked perfectly in this purse.  The flower pin is made from that fabric too.
I love the bunched up sides! oh, who am I kidding- I love, love, LOVE this purse!

Your bag turned out great! Cute and very imaginative. I'm in the process of making a bag for my sister - it looks awesome in my head but it's having trouble materializing lol. Good work!!

And so you should.  Just keep on having those wonderful visions and actualizing them.  Creation is soul food.

GREAT JOB! I just made my first bag and it was OH SO satisfying, I'll be making more in the future.  Your concept is just as fabulous as the execution.  The rose is a lovely detail!
