I made these sweet peg dolls for a swap recently. I decided to take photos of them with a doll that I most recently posted.

They take wonderful photos.

Those are really cute.  Did you make the wood parts too?  If not please tell me where to get the dolly blanks.  I'd love to paint some with my daughter.

Those are adorable! I wish I had a steady hand to paint things that small Cry I love the separation in the bangs of the brunette girl, I think she's my favorite!

Thank you all for your sweet compliments.

Atsuko I bought the pegs from here: http://www.craftparts.com/advanced_search_result.php?keywords=people&x=0&y=0 They are super duper inexpensive and I was surprised how quickly I got my stuff. I highly recommend them.

When I first started I bought two of them at the local craft store. I bought 4, I took them home and within a few hours I had them painted and sitting in front of me. I suddenly got the bug. I ran to every craft store and bought them out... then it occurred to me that I should buy in bulk. After buying one gross... they become so addicting. I have made many in peoples likeness and for a close friend I made one of her and her husband at their daughters wedding. They are sooo much fun to make.

I am thinking about building them a small house if I can pull some resources together. Smiley

Poyupop, they are wonderful! and kiddo and i feel lucky to be the recepient of these beauties! We are enjoying them greatly!

I cant wait to see what others you come up with! and yes, i think it would be great if you have a little house for your peg dolls.

let me know if they need a bedspread, area rug, or something for a housewarming when you do! Grin
