I just completed three skeins from my shetland ram, Cihat.  This is from this year's clip in March.  I've made mostly barn hats from him, they are v. popular with my family, and seem to have legs!

He is quite the handsome ram.  The way he is posing for that photo I think he knows it too!

That is sooo cool.  I know that other people have probably posted things like this but this is the first I've seen and I love it and am a wee bit jelouse that I don't have a ram.  His name if fantabulous.

He is quite handsome. Is he nice? My sister's ram was mean. I love the colors in the batt and yarn. Did you say what kind? Ah, yes you did.

Cihat is gorgeous! And the wool is lovely! Great striping on the hats!
I have no experience with ram wool, therefor a question: I heard that ram wool usually doesn't get used for spinning and making clothes because it has a strong smell. Did you have a way to cope with it or is it different with Shetlands?
