I'm not sure that this is conventional "needlework," but I did it with a needle, so it seemed appropriate. I had been making some inchies with some sequins, and I saw anew the glory and splendor that are these shiny little wonders. I started sewing some onto a piece of brown batik cloth, and it looked totally garbagey.... I searched my stash and found this butterfly print that I was planning on making an apron out of. A lightbulb went on, and I decided to make some ornaments or something out of it instead because let's face it: I suck at sewing BIGTIME. Here are the results. I made one yesterday and one today.

My curious husband in the background. He's usually asleep when I craft and take photos....

lol ignore the extra set of teeth in the background....

Haha, I'm probably going to be making a lot of these in the next couple weeks...It's how I roll (>.<)

Wisted!  And I'm not a huge "Ooooh, sparkly!"-type of person, but I love this!  Great job!

Sequins and butterflies, my two favorite things!  These are beautiful! I must make some of these!  I'm putting this in my favorites!

So pretty! I love sequins, and the beads you used go together so well with them. These would look awesome on a tote bag.
