I am contemplating maybe doing a craft show in the future. My biggest concern is about taxes. I have an etsy shop, but don't collect WI sales tax b/c the Dept of Revenue told me if I did online sales less $1000 per year I didn't have to collect. Therefore I don't have a sellers permit or tax ID or anything. But now that I am thinking of a craft fair, this changes things. Just wanted to see what you all are doing/have done. I saw something about an "occasional sale exemption" but still have to research it.
Otherwise, any and all advice and or links to craft booth photos would be great.

***edited- I just looked up the Occasional sale exemption and that is basically what I am already doing....If I sell less than $1000 per year, I don't need a sellers permit***

Any other advice still appreciated.

This would be interesting to find out.  I don't currently sell any of my crafts...basically gift everything.  I really would like to do a craft fair this year, but never thought about this.

If you ever find out any more about it, I'd love to hear.

I was actually just coming on here to see if anyone would be interested in doing a craft fair together.  I don't have any crafty friends really, so I thought I'd try to make some.

Good luck with your future shows, and I hope you share some of your experiences.
