You did an awesome job on her!  I love her hair style.  What did you make her out of?

I made her out of crafting felt. The little squares you can buy at Wal-mart for around 2 for $1.00.

I'm completely hooked!!!!

I will be making another one, or two, or three or...... LOL

Felt really? That is so great! Some people in the poppet swap were wondering if you could make a successful poppet out of felt, and I believe that you did just prove that it is possible. Did you have a hard time turning it right side out of anything because the felt did not have any stretch?

I am def. going to refer people to look here at your little gal when they are wondering about the felt thing...

The only problem I had was turning the tail and then gave up on that and just ladder stitched it. I was actually really amazed at how easy this pattern was to make. This is not only my first poppet but my first doll and jointed at that.

Your tut was so easy to follow thanks so much. In fact I may start another one tonight if I have enough felt to make one.

Send anyone you like I would love to help if I can.
