Black / White Shorts with skulls (can I really wear them out?) picture heavy!

I think they are great!  But I vote for them being sleep shorts, unless maybe as someone mentioned, you wear them on the beach.  I think it is the styling of them that makes them look like boy-short undies.  They have the band on top and bottom, a button fly and an all over print.  Otherwise, the shorts themselves are short, but not too short to be worn out.

theyre oh so cute but i wouldn't feel comfortable wearing them outside.
personal preference though, they do look more pyjama-ish then going out-ish.
that fabric would make a great skinny t-shirt.
can't say i don't adore the shorts though!

What pattern or tute did you use??? I want to make some of these as a part of my Halloween costume... and I'm not the greatest at drafting pant patterns...

Thanks a lot for all your comments! I think I'm gonna wear them in summer holidays or at home when it's hot enough I'm planning on making another pair with some other fabric.. fabric that doesn't indicate underwear that much

I made the pattern by myself. I tried to use a pair of shorts that i recently bought for orientation but somehow this is simply impossible ^^ I had to make so many changes in the end..

I guess I'm gonna post a tut when I'm making my next pair of shorts.

I thought they were underwear at first too. But once I saw them on you Id say go for it and wear them! Ive seen girl wearing shorter and besides youve got the legs for em!
