She must have felt very pretty wearing that dress and I'm in awe on the work you've put in for it. So awesome.

Great job! Huge, ambitious project. I can see why you wouldn't want to tackle anything like that again in the near future. Having pockets is fabulous. More dresses should have pockets because I totally agree that handbags are annoying. And too easy to misplace! That was some fancy sewing getting a pair of gloves out of that scrap of lace! Whew.

Love your design! She can be really happy to have a friend like you! And she looks incredibly beautiful in that dress! I like the fact that the dress has pockets Smiley
Great choice of colour, too!

Nothing says good decision quite like putting in grommets at four in the morning.

Great choice of colour, too!

Couldn't agree more ^^ As a matter of fact she chose the same fabric that I had years ago in my own prom dress ^^

Thank you all! I'm glad no one so far have thought me insane over the whole pockets-thing, but then I guess us crafsters are practical people *smiles*

I have to ask, which pattern do you use for the corset?
I've been attempting to sew a similar corset, but since I draft my own patterns (ha ha), they always come out wrong.
