So I gave American Apparel's Le Sac dress a shot, thinking "Surely this can--and should--be made rather than bought...I mean, it's called 'The Sack'." BUT I was using some scrap fabric that I had, so it was too short to wear decently in public:



Hence, I dyed some white eyelet lace to a tan-ish/tea color, and sewed it on. Here is the redo:

looking good Smiley  i saw it today as well, and used a bit of my evening to whip one up.  must be the easiest thing i've ever made!  i need to get a longer bit of ribbon for my "string" tho, all i had lying around was a metre of white stuff from another project.
