I sure do love monkey bread, it's delicious!!
I decided to make this for dessert for a party my soccer "team" is having after practice. It was really simple and fun to make, I think I might made it with my niece once she's a little bit older! It came out really well, and I'm hoping it'll be a hit with everyone tonight.

Here's a tutorial if anyone is curious as to how it's made. I made mine in a muffin tin so there could be individual servings, but you can put the pieces in a round cake pan, bundt cake pan or just place them on a cookie sheet!
The following ingredients list made me 36 individual serving sizes:
3 Cans of biscuits (there were 8 biscuits in each can)
1 Cup sugar
4 Tbs. Cinnamon
1 cup butter (melted)
Other materials:
1 Sharp Knife (ask your parents for help, kiddies!)
1 Cutting board
1 Muffin pan (12 muffin cups in the pan)
Cooking Spray
Oven
1 Ziplock baggy
Got your all of your supplies together? GREAT! Let's get started!
1: Pre-heat the over to 350F, then mix together the cinnamon and sugar into a ziplock baggy.

2: Melt your butter in a microwave safe dish (I chose a Pirex glass measuring cup) and mix in some of the cinnamon sugar mixture (about a tablespoon or so)
3: Open your tasty biscuits, and try not to jump when they pop (some how I always do, but so do the dogs, so I feel a little better that I'm not the only one!)

4: Pull apart the biscuits and cut each one into 8 pieces (I usually cut it into forths length wise, then cut each forth in half) I found that 16 pieces (which is 2 biscuits!) will happily fill 3 of the muffin cups (5 pieces per cup, then split the remaining piece where you see fit).

5: Roll each piece between your hands (think making a small snake out of playdoh), then place it into the bag of cinnamon sugar, close the baggy and shake it up, making sure to coat all of the pieces entirely!

6: Once the pieces are covered in cinnamon sugar, place them in the muffin cups (about 5 pieces for each cup)
7: Repeat steps 4-6 until all of your cups are filled, or all of your biscuits are gone, which ever comes first.
8: Once all of the cups are filled, spoon a little bit of the sugar/butter mixture into the muffin cups, over the biscuit pieces.

9: Place in the over and bake for 15-17 minutes, or until the biscuits are well cooked. Take the pan out of the oven when the timer goes off.

10: Allow the monkey bread to cool, then take out of the pan (they should come out pretty easily if you turn the pan upside down over some foil) and enjoy!! Feel free to hang from a tree and oot like a monkey while eating them!

Please let me know if you try the recipe and how you liked it, or if you found a way to change it! I'd love to see what people do!
