very cute!! something inside me wishes you hadn't gone with the Disney versions of the costumes since they are on pages from the original book, but I suppose they are certainly the most recognizable versions.

also I like that you can just barely see some of the text through the acrylics. Cheesy

Oh I know, I was thinking about that as I painted them....theyre a mix of both, though, if you look closely. Well besides Alice's dress and tweedle dum and tweedle dee.............. the queen's dress is a bit hard to see in some of the book's images but that's a mix of disney and my own take (the hearts on the side weren't there) - plus I think it'd be SO elaborate to do the book version's queen's dress! haha.

The mad hatter now has polka dots on the bow, like the original version, but I had added that after I photographed them - Last but not least, the rabbit's tunic IS the from from the book (the one from disney just has one big heart on it)....the one from the book has the big bow and the multiple hearts on it.

But thanks!!! Glad you liked them.

OoO very nice!  I like the idea, I'm always looking for ways to pull story book images and text together.  And right when I'm all excited about the upcoming Alice movie too!

It kind of reminds me of some of the Jay Long stuff I have.

These are GREAT! I'm a huge fan of all things Lewis Carroll.

I especially love that both Tweedles are represented in clothes form.
