What a great idea!  I love the texture of the paints and how the text shows up faintly through the paint. These are neat!!  Did you remove the pages from the book or are they still in the book?

Thank you! I removed the pages from the book. I have been collecting vintage alice in wonderland books lately, and I got one just for altered art purposes. I'm glad I did because I've had sooo many great ideas because of it! =]

by the way...did you guys notice? each page that i painted on - as in, that particular part in the book - matches up with the piece of clothing. Cheesy

I did notice, because I thought, "WOuldn't it be neat if she used pages about that character to paint on?", and so I looked and YOU DID!  Very cute!

What are going to do with these now?

I love the colors, and these are really nice. They might be great for a kid's room. Oooh, or a kid's reading loft!

I'm going to get those black mat frames for all of them (I actually only have 2!) and hang them in my new apartment that I'm moving into next week. But I'd like to make prints of them to sell alongside my jewelry - I've never really sold anything except jewelry, DIY wise, so it's new and exciting for me. But first I need to see if the scanner in my house will stop hating me, haha.

Thank you! The queen is another favorite of mine too! The hearts on the side are my own twist but I'm glad it turned out looking okay.

That's funny that you say that, because people always tell me my drawings/paintings look like they should be in a kid's book or room ! :]

You should sell them because I would totally buy them! My wedding was Alice in Wonderland themed and they would be a wonderful reminder of a great day!
