Excuse the photo quality and lack of step by step photos, I have a killer migraine.  That being said, my project used the wonderful, but EXPENSIVE Victorian Trading Company catalogs that I keep around for lusting er, persusing over.  I took an old thrifted frame, and decopodged photos of things in the red/orange scheme that caught my interest.  It seems to have a kind of witchy theme to it, now that I look at it lol.

Then I cut a piece of cardboard to fit inside of the frame, covered it in a piece of black fabric.  Just used duct tape to tape the fabric in place as if I was upholstering it.  No one will see that.  I popped it in, it's a tight enough fit to not pop out again.

Now, I just used sewing pins to stab into it and slipped some of my favorite earrings on it!  One could add a peg on top of the frame to sling necklaces/bracelets on it, but the cats would pester that to death, so just earrings it is.

Now I get to look at my favorite products from the Victorian Trading Co. without having to spend a dime!

I love that idea!  I've been trying to brainstorm ideas for making something to display my jewelry, but I suck at wood and metal working.

It would also make an awesome gift idea if you make jewelry for family/friends.

Whoa, that is really nice. I love the color and it looks like it was store bought & painted to look that way.

Beautiful!  I have a similar earring rack, but there's screen in the frame to hang the earrings on.  I think I'm going to steal this idea to make as a gift for my mother in law. Cheesy
