okay, here's my latest. it took some tweaking since my last one, but this one turned out great. i've got it down now! the bag actually has lining this time and the handle is a whole lot better than my first try. i used magenta corduroy and a vintage sheet for the lining. there is an electric blue zipper and then pink applique. the pink applique was just a design as you go idea. it's just sliced up fabric that i just dropped on to the fabric and applied it the way it fell. hope you all like it! thanks for looking!

Love the pleats, very fun detail!  Must have been time consuming...but definitely worthwhile!

Hey tinafish, they are really really great. They seem very nicely finished, especially the last one. And the slouchy pleated look is so now (at least where i am lol).

i've been promising a tutorial for a while on this purse. i finally have it to where i think i'm happy enough after some tweaking that i will go ahead and put up a tute sometime this week, so be on the lookout. thanks so much for the comments.
