I'm so excited to have one wedding thing done. Sadly, our wedding is 4 months away and I should have more done! lol.

Anyway, FH and I want an eco-friendly wedding on a budget, but eco-friendly invitations were pretty pricey or didn't look like I wanted them. I've all ready decided that most everything "proper" about weddings will probably be thrown out the window, including color schemes. I found eco-friendly, 100% pcw paper from K & Company, so I order it in nearly every color. Smiley I couldn't help it, it was so cute and I could indulge my indecisiveness.

I only got 44 done today and ran out of paper (had some 'oops' moments). I need about 30 more to be completely done. I'm not good with paper crafting, but I'm pretty proud. I wanted something different than the normal ones, so I used a heart-shaped brad to let the front part spin so you can see the info. I don't have all the copies of our pictures so I just showed a sample of the end product.

Okay, enough babbling, here are the pictures!

Those are very cool  Smiley

I wish more people would do handmade wedding cards--for a once-in-a-lifetime event, I think the personal touch makes it even more special.  Make sure you keep an extra if you do any scrapbooking (or think you might start).

I like the color scheme as well, and the brad as a hinge.  Is the photo glued down, or do the punched heart corners hold it in?

They are really neat!  I love the spinning photo.  I also like the way you've set the picture - neat corners.  And high five for indecisiveness!  You did a great job dealing with it though.

Congratulations and good luck!

The punched heart corners hold the picture in. We figured that way if family wants to frame the picture or recycle the invitation and keep the photo, it would be easy to remove. Smiley
