I made a shelf out of catalogs.  It was really easy.  Just roll the catalogs (which will make a natural cascade pattern) and then I used clear packing tape to secure the catalog rolls.  I then "built" the shelf and taped the rolls together.
*In my original design I used twine and tied the catalog rolls together--but the spaces were too large between the rolls for a shelf.  I did think it would have made an interesting room divider or window treatment though.

This is my first time to do a challenge!!!

Oh, what a great use. I need shelves, and have quite a few old magazines. I see you have quite a few elephants, love them, are those polymer clay?

Thanks for the idea, maybe I can make some. I love you left the colors natural to the catalogs.
