I have been looking for something unique to do with the staircase in my house.  I was originally thinking of using tiles on the risers...but I'm a little too lazy for that.  Then I saw this...http://www.doorsixteen.com/2008/09/03/wallpapered-stair-risers/ and I fell in love.  That wallpaper is by ferm living and is approx. $115.00 a roll...crazy!  So I searched around and found something similar for 30 bucks.  2 hours later my stairs were done!  I'm pretty happy with them.  Here is the before:

What a great idea! Wish I had stairs to do this on. I'm adding it to my idea file in case I have some someday! Thanks for sharing!
