Well as the title says I took some pages from the magazine and turned it into a necklace. I used an Esurace advertisement and also a Flight of the Concords advertisement to make those awesome little folded stars. I then Mod Podged them to give it a nice glossy sheen. Add some beads and chain and you get a necklace that will be the envy of your friends Cheesy.

And now the pictures:

I really like how the length turned out.

A close-up of one of the stars, and its glossy glory.

Shaped like a heart I love the clasp.

And now the earrings.

The earrings at a different angle.

Thanks for checking it out. Comments and Criticisms welcomed  Grin

Your necklace and earrings are super sweet!  What a great idea.  I remember making those stars before but I forget how to do it; I guess it would come back if I  played around with it again.  Turn scraps into fashion!! Wink

these are really cute!  I like. I also like that it's a rolling stone mag and that the necklace/earrings are kinda rock star-esque. Cheesy

Wow, I didn't have any catalogs, and didn't know we could use magazines. This is great and I would love to learn paperfolding one day, but we can say this 'rocks'. LOL

How do you make the tiny stars, I have seen them before but never on jewelry. Very cool.

Cute necklace! I bought a little kit for making folding stars, but I haven't got around to trying it yet. Just looked up a tutorial on youtube, maybe that'll be my project for the day.
