So I made this pillow for a friend, along with some other stuff as a thank you gift. The blue is felt. I backhand stitched an outline of a black lab (after his dog that is no longer with us) on a black felt cutout and used a small red blended fleece scrap to make a team zissou beanie for the dog.

I used some sequins for stars and secured them with french knots. I used a sparkly thread to connect the little dipper sequins.

The pillow itself is some canvas wicker print thing I found in my garage. This is my second time attempting to stitch and I'm really happy with the outcome.

thoughts are appreciated Smiley

Really sweet! I love the doggie, and what an ingenious idea to use beads to make the Dipper!!

Very nice.  I love the concept of having the night sky behind the dog.  Well done.

This may not happen, since I have had major surgery on my shoulder.
