That is adorable and I would easily buy that in a store if I were fortunate enough to have a boy child lol.   Grin  Well done!

Aaaaw...that makes me want to have a baby (or know a baby) so I could sew superhero diaper covers too.  Really nice job on the applique!

Aww!  I wish I had friends with babies to sew for!  This is absolutely precious, and what a great idea.

Thank you all for the nice comments!  *blush*

Did you use blue wool? Also, who makes the pattern you used?
Well, it's not wool, it's fleece.  I'm pretty sure it's polyester.  I kept modifying a pattern I had until it seemed to fit about right to hold him and the inner diaper.  The original pattern was ridiculously small and there's really not much of it left in the pattern that I'm using now.

Yeah, actually.  I couldn't find a superman applique at wal-mart and I really wanted to make it right that moment!  So I looked up "superman logo" on google images and found one that seemed about right.  Except it was animated, haha, but that was okay because I had to edit it anyway and editting an image freezes it in the first frame.

I will try to post a tute as soon as I can get the pattern scanned in.
