I cut up an old bead catalog and turned it into these flowers. They are all resin coated, plan to turn them into some jewelry or hair accessories, not sure which yet, I think they are real neat anyway
Hard to get photos at night, I'll try to get some during the day later
by request here is a tutorial
Catalog Flower Tutorial
I would love to see what you make from it if you decide to try them out

I'm going to try to do a tutorial that is; if I can get my daughter to be helpful and work the camera. Much to messy to risk touching the camera myself while making them.

Beautiful! I hope your daughter agrees to help with the tutorial.
Could you post pictures of them once you decide what you're going to do with them? I agree with Angelicus - I would so rock these as hair ornaments

I do too
She's at that age though where she is moody, temperamental, hard to be around when she isn't getting her way and overall into head butting. I think my mom warned me about this when I was my daughter's age and I laughed, possibly cackled - ah the things we would take back if we could lol.
I'll definitely post photos when they actually become something more than they are now. At the moment I still see too many possibilities to settle on one.

I think once you get to your mid 20's you start to understand everything you parents were trying to tell you LOL. I'm 25 and I've come to many realizations of my mother's wisdoms
These are AWESOME!!! I can totally see SO many applications!! So why stick to just one do and try all!!!

Okay so once again I am completely redoing my pictures. Got tired of photobucket, the only reason I used it was for here so I decided I will just use Craftster's photo uploader. So while I am switching over my photo links will be broken. Message me if there is a post you would like the pics for.

I agree with this statement...... I just turned 25, got married when I was 18, divorced by 21 (he was a cheater so it wasnt really my 'fault) but if I had just listened to my MOTHER, the best person I know..... ugh, things would be so different, if only I knew then what I know now.... I would have been dangerous!
if it helps, tell your daughter you'll give her some money to take some pics.... I always liked money... still do!!
