These are some pics I took right after it was done, so they are kind of shiney-plus, it's hard to take a pic of the back of your own leg!  Wink I'll try to get a better shot of them now that they are all healed up, but this is all I have for now.

I'm going to get a tattoo eventually (when I get over my fear of needles) and have the money.

I want the japanese symbol for 'spirit' on my lower back or this:

I just love the second one but doubt I'd ever be able to have the guts to have it done.

Oh I love this! I have been wanting angel-like wings forever but I could never find a picture that I liked. Until now, of course Wink

i, myself was 8 years old only ten years ago. and i can't imagine what i would have chosen for a permenant tattoo if i'd been allowed to back then. and i can't think of anything i'll still want when i'm 28, or 38, if i got one now. EXCEPT some sort of vegan tattoo, maybe. the one idea i truly like is getting something on the back of my neck. maybe a phrase, like live and let live, maybe the word vegan written in cursive. but, i'm not someone who really flaunts that, i'm more of a private person.. and.. um.. i just can't do anything as daring as get a tattoo, even though i'd like to.

does anyone here have any vegan themed tattoos, or ideas for any?

sorry im a little, ok very late, getting to this post, but i have X vegan X in old english across my stomach..i got it back in 96 i think...and im still vegan..heh..so many kids i know got stuff like that done and all are either back eating meat, or getting drunk everynight.. Grin

I really want to get a buffalo wrapping around my right hip... the thing going into my green panties is a crude sketch of a tumbleweed. That's still optional...I'd have to actually sketch it out and see if I like it or not.

This is just a quick sketch I did in photoshop. The actual thing would be pretty realistic and colored in.

Dig the awesome pants marks left across my belly.

I just have a particular affinity for 'em. They're kind of symbolic of survival, and heartiness and strength. The tumbleweed is there as a reminder of disparaging times, but it's dwarfed in comparison to the buffalo.
