I love the rat design. very nice, and meaningful too-- I too love the misunderstood creatures.

I want to get a tattoo someday, but I can't really commit to something I feel strongly enough to carve into my body permanently yet. But I am toying around with the idea of a dandelion puff:

because they remind me of my childhood, and dandelions are my favorite flower (I know technically they're "weeds", but I think they're beautiful).

Hey me too!  I love dandelions!

I'm thinking of getting a puff with some seeds blowing off, or maybe just the seeds - but I just can't decide where I should get it...

I'm itching to get my next tattoo, i just cant quite get the specifics right. I KNOW that I want a lotus flower on the inside of my right wrist. I know I want it really simplistic, just an outline, but I cant seem to draw one just right..Sad

Any great artists out there that can help me out? I know I want it similar to the one below, minus the heart...

I like the heart myself but, you could always remove the heart and add 3 or so more of the smaller lines that go out from the heart - you could place those where the heart 'was' with about three of those wavy lines vertically......

Rira -

Yea, I think it would look good on the inside of your wrist but, although I can design things, I am not very knowledgable about the whole tattoo thing.

But, I'm wondering if you could take the little swirly things out further and have them wrap around your wrist to the front like a bracelet.

Does any one have an idea how big this design would have to be to keep all the details/keep the risk of warping low? It'll be on my back and have color...I'm not getting it right away (probably in about a year to make sure I still like it) but that's something I want to keep into consideration. I don't mind big but if it's going to have to be really large i may have to rethink it...

(excuse the pencil smudges and the asymmetry Tongue)

Craftinator, you read my mind.. I guess i'll keep bugging people to see how big the flower itself needs to be..

Dirtyprettythings. I would say it would need to be the size of the drawing or possibly a little larger..I really dont know though, but I know the more complicated something is, the bigger it needs to be. Gorgeous design though
