The more I think about it, the more I want to get the words "find what's good and make it last" tattooed on me somewhere. [It's a line from Old School by the Bouncing Souls]. It's been my favorite quote for years now, so I'm sure I won't get sick of that line. I'm definitely going to give it a looong time before I decide to actually get it done.

I'm SOOO psyched I can't wait to get enough cash to do this!  Of course, it's a cover job so I hope I CAN do this!  I mean I'm okay with what I have if I can't cover it, but it's not like I'm beaming with pride about it anymore, and it's just some a prime spot for a large tat and I am LOVING this idea.  All my other ideas I keep being indecisive about, not this one!

This is what I'm wanting to cover...

And this is what I'm wanting to cover it with, with some clean up on the color work and roots

The stars because I thought it would be great to get the main part of Orion, which always leaves me with a sense of peace and knowing that I'll be okay whenever I see it.  That of course would go beyond the design and the bottom two stars would wind up being around my lower back, but the idea is to get it done in UV so it really shines like the stars.

On another note, how cool would it be to get other things that glowed done in UV? Constellations, fireflies (or Firefly Tongue ) that door in the Lord of the Rings, the one ring, ooh! those bioluminescent fish, jellyfish...

ok dont think of me as like some crazy bible freak... cus I'm not, I'm a I-Love-My-Mummy freak
I drew these two birds, one dove and one raven.  And they both have a banner, the dove has a branch in his mouth and it's banner says "and this good news..." the raven's banner says "...and then the end will come."
The quote is abridged version of a bible scripture my mom use to read to me all the time when I was little about how truth will solve the problems of the world.  And the two birds are the ones that Noah let out of the arc after the flood.
I want to get a tattoo that is beautiful and original but carries a lot of meaning.

Maybe i'll post the pictures i have... I'd need to scan them in and blah blah.
