My tattoo ideas are a little hard to explain.
Obviously not at all the final designs,
This one is for my Pop. He was a huge influence on my life, and I still miss him years down the road from his death.
There's a lot of backstory to this tattoo, but basically Pop was a massive hoarder, hence the cardboard boxes. When he died, we spent six months clearing out his house, box after box after box. In places, the house was actually
held up by his boxes of junk.
The back box holds tin cans and papers. I think I want to put a rolled up newspaper in there too. The toy plane is for his love of toys and planes, and the pull-along train [that I want to have coming out between the two boxes, and curving around to the front] is his huuuuge passion for trains. Some of my earliest memories of him are going to big train expos and riding the ol' steam train.
The front box is full of chocolate and bon-bons and candy, because he was a MASSIVE sweet-tooth.

I need to work on the second tattoo I want.
But it's basically a cherry blossom branch in a family tree. I want two white cherryblossoms at the base, for my parents, with four buds clustered just above them for their kids.
Above that, I want it to branch into three. One small branch, with a ladybug crawling along it, another small branch on the other side, blank for now [to add buds to when my siblings have kids].
And a bigger branch coming up from between those two for my continued family tree. This one I want to start with two pink blossoms [myself and my man] [maybe in a slight loveheart shape, though not too obvious?], and then to branch out more to add buds to when I have kids.
Something I'm thinking about is having initials on the blossoms/buds for each person [K and R for my parents, S, N, J, S are my siblings and I, and then D and S for my man and I].
