So... I've always been lurking on craft sites, but here's another shot at what I've been working on lately.

The urge to craft always strikes in the latter half of the term. Smiley

And a key fob thingy...

I tried to make something that I can put stuff in but is not a normal messenger-bag type style.  Let's see... I used some twill and some Amy Butler (?) fabric that i had in my stash.  And a magnetic snap.  And lots and lots of thread!  Smiley

I love the construction.  You did such a great job.  How did you do the zippered pocket in the lining?

Thanks Smiley  I am excited because I'm getting to the point where my stuff looks a little more professional (and doesn't scream "homemade"...).

I did the zippered pocket from memory of instructions I found online awhile ago... like from a tutorial something like this one http://sewmamasew.com/blog2/?p=150

oooh it's really pretty. very well crafted and I love how it's simple and the fun fabric is on the inside like a surprise with a little stripe on the outside. Good job!
