Hello! When I saw this challenge, I thought of making clothing, specifically a dress. It's made from two catalogues, a southern furniture one and a country store one. The top part of the dress is the country store and the skirt part is made from the furniture. I didn't sew the seams together, but opted using kwik-stitch.

I like the shape of the bodice.  that would make a really cute dress out of fabric too!  And you could do mock ups this way too.  Get an idea for the shape without using any fabric.

I would think so on a dry, summer day, but I would probably add a coating of varnish or something, so make sure it doesn't fall apart if it got wet.
