I recently went to an 'intro to tapestry course' at the lovely stirling castle.  After the whole weekend & many hours weaving afterwards, here is my first tapestry!

It is 12cm x 26cm, using axminster wool as weft & cotton as warp.  I am quite impressed with my circle!  And no, I haven't sewn the slits or tagged down the ends on the back - I was far too excited by cutting it from the loom!

C&C welcome.  Am looking forward to getting started on my next one!

I have lots of train tickets (I get the train most days), if anyone wants some for papercrafting just send me a PM Smiley

Haha--if only it had 10 different colors and a small empty space on it I would have to ask if we went to the same school!  I had to do the same thing!  (It's a good learning process.)

Very nice first weaving. ^_^ (much better than mine! ... but that also could be because I was forced to use so many darn colors. ...ya I'm not proud of mine.)
