Hey all!  These are dresses that I've made in the past few months for my girl.  They are all designed by me, just used a pattern block for the bodice that fits her and modified it for each different style.  I've posted my tutorial for the sundress with the shirred back before, I just did shirring on the straps differently than what I put in that.  I don't have pictures of her wearing all of them, but be assured she has a hard time choosing which twirly dress to wear to daycare every morning. Smiley

Princessy dress with tulle (I used a whole roll of tulle from Micheal's on the ruffle - 25 yds x 6" wide)

Princess birthday dress

Seersucker butterfly dress

Flowery alphabet dress

Westerny dress

I've made a few things for my son, too, but I'll wait on posting that.  I've got a bunch of fabric to make him some camp shirts and then some denim for matching shorts.  I'll post them when I get them done in the next month.

those are amazing! How much yardage do you use in her skirts if I can ask?

Thank you!

A dress takes about 2.5 yards of fabric if I do the skirt really full.  The really full skirts are 4 full fabric width cuts, but 2 will work (the first dress is only 2).  I don't have a ruffle foot for my machine, so I just gather with the serger.  Makes it whole lot easier to gather the skirts!

Those are just gorgeous!
I really love them all, and I can see why your daughter has trouble choosing what to wear in the morning. I couldn't pick a favorite if i tried. Cheesy

Butterfly is my favorite. Love it! I really like that pattern with the snaps on the bodice. If asked would describe your stuff as an ecclectic mix of girly boutique and euro funk!

Thanks everyone!  Last summer she didn't want to wear any of the dresses I made her, so I'm very happy she likes them now.  Smiley

That's a good description...I like that!  I've been using tons of snaps these days.  My buttonholer just doesn't do a good job, so this gets me out of trying to get it to work.
