I finally felt brave enough to make something!

I work in an office so I spend alot of time NOT sitting ergonomically (which means back pain) and staring at a computer screen (which means headaches). I needed something to keep my tens machine and pain killers in so I bought some cheap fabric incase it all went wrong and so...

It's lined too (I'm super impressed)

I decided to try making a box bag using this tutorial (but probably the wrong measurements.

wow, you did very well on your first sewing project! Smiley
I'm impressed you started with a zipper!! It took me a while before i tried that, although i think zippers are overrated, once you know how to do it, it's quite easy! Wink

You did a great job for your 1st project. I don't think you used the wrong measurements for your other project, it was the size you wanted. You don't have to make things according to pattern specs. Take it & change it up - make it your own (that's half the fun of it).

I'm impressed you started with a zipper!!

sewing a zip is a million times easier than attempting to sew a button hole - that I still have not done, I think my machine refuses to do it.

Thanks for your nice comments!

Both of those are so cute! I love the polka dot print and of course, the pinkness of it!

Your first?! I couldn't even tell! They look so professional to me!
