Clothing Adoption Swap

I have never organized a swap and I would be happy to help someone with experience in swaps ....

I have this idea ...
I have way too many clothes ....some I've have hoarded to mod or alter,some are half made, some Ive just hoarded cos ...well they are really neat clothes
I was thinking about a swap where I could send out my beloved items to new loving homes where they have a rich new lives filled with fun and adventure..will they be mod-ed or will they be taken clubbing that very night! Oh the excitement!
Ideally a swap where folks could sign up ..send off a package  and receive a genre themed/style pack surprise of "new" clothes..to alter,embellish or wear as is !
 Sizes and Styles would be needed as well as the normal swap stuff

 I have this great stash of size 20-26 clothes ....someone want a steam punk parcel or a hippy package ?

How about if you send off a piece of clothing and then your swap partner alters it in some way and send it back to you? I would like a swap like that, and then you wouldn't have to worry about different sizes, since you would always get your right size back.

I would totally be up for that! I don't sew but I am in the middle of my first stenciling project. I would love add some more zazz to some one's shirt.

I would be up for it anyways we could do it.  I wear an 18/20 would love to swap out some clothes or however we come up with how to do it.

I think I would be up for this. I have a ton of clothes (especially T-shirts) that I keep thinking I'll do something with, but then they just sit there taking up room. New ready to wears or new stuff for inspiration would be nice. And I'd be motivated to clean out the closet!

Could we include shoes? I have so many shoes I never wear.

Please remember, whatever swap you set up, it must involve crafting - you wouldn't be able to simply partner up and send clothing and shoes to one another - even though that sounds enticing.

It seems as if there are (at least) two different swaps that are being discussed in this thread now, and I don't mean to hijack the thread. Maybe I should set up a whole new thread for my swap idea. Yes, will do that. Back in a moment...
